Janice is a native of the Grand Valley with almost 20 years of experience in the Residential, Commercial and Investment Real Estate markets, working exclusively with RE/MAX 4000. As a previous engineering vice president for a large international firm, I developed a keen business acumen which she utilize with clients through excellent negotiating skills. Janice is actively involved in the community. She serves on the Foundation Board for HopeWest and hosts a monthly radio show, House Talk, on KAFM Community Radio (88.1). Carrie St. Clair – Buyer Specialist
Carrie St. Clair has held a real estate license since 2006. First jumping into the Washington D.C. market and then making the move to Richmond, Virginia where she signed on with the newly formed One South Realty Group. While in Richmond, she was involved with both team-based downtown development projects, and residential sales. Carrie has extensive experience dealing with all sides of the real estate market. With a background in marketing and management, she excels at organizing transactions, setting and meeting goals. Carrie’s passion for travel inspired her and her husband to relocate to Grand Junction, Colorado after traveling a year and ½ around the United States, Mexico and Central America they found unlimited access to adventure here in the Grand Valley.

Tammy Wheeler – Team Office Manager
Tammy Wheeler started her Real Estate career in 2002 as a front desk receptionist. After a year she was promoted to Agent Support for more than 45 Realtors which then grew to 68. Agent Support is such an important role for the success of each agent. A role that requires maximizing every minute by staying organized, multitasking, a detailed eye and hard work. Tammy excelled in this role for 15 years until she made the move to join Janice Burtis as the Team Office Manager.

Jessie Carlson – Licensed Closing Specialist
Jessie Carlson started her career as a Closing Assistant with Land Title in 1997. She quickly learned the ropes and in less than a year Jessie advanced to a full-time Closing Agent. With 20 years in the business, she is a master at finding solutions to difficult title requirements. She not only understands all of the aspects of title but can explain them to clients – her customer service is exceptional.

Erika Jones has over 18 years of experience in sales management and marketing. Her specialty is in management consulting and marketing. She has worked for several national companies such as Lindt Chocolate Corporate Marketing and as a National Sales Rep for AutoTrader.com. On a local level she was a General Manager for a local car dealer as well as a Digital Sales Manager for KKCO Channel 11 News. Having a strong passion for marketing and helping businesses get the most out of the money they are spending she decided to open an agency with a different business model. Rather than charge the traditional 15% the Synergy business model keeps the customers best interest in mind. This has proven to be very successful in this market, and she continues to grow the business by learning new industries and the marketing techniques needed to be successful in those industries.

Vistar Media Solutions was founded by owner and Creative Director Scot Stewart in 1999. After spending 9 years in Southern California learning the art of video production on the set of feature films and hundreds of independent production projects, Scot returned to his hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado where he was awarded the responsibility of managing the marketing and branding of the local ABC affiliate.
